The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation sent to the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don to consider the merits of the case of the accused of leading a criminal community and the murders of "authority" Aslan Gagiev (Dzhako). The term of Gagiev's detention was extended by three months, until September 13. Gagiev is accused of committing crimes under Part 1 of Art. 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Creation and management of a criminal community"), part 1 of Art. 209 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Creation and management of a gang"), part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of two or more persons"), part 3 of Art. 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal arms trafficking"). He faces punishment up to life imprisonment.
According to the investigation, Gagiev wanted to establish a dominant position in the criminal environment of North Ossetia by creating three armed gangs on the territory of the republic, which entered his criminal community. The gangs were led by previously convicted Oleg Dzarakhokhov, Bakhrom Sekinaev, and Denis Kokoev, who is now on the international wanted list. In 2012-2013. on the instructions of Gagiev, gang members in North Ossetia committed the murders of Taimur Kadzaev, Valery Laliev, Alan Torchinov, Aslan Torchinov, Albeg Playev and Oleg Oziev (at the time of the murder he was the deputy prosecutor of the Industrial District of Vladikavkaz).
Aslan Gagiev, who was on the international wanted list since February 13, 2014, was detained in January 2015 in Vienna, Austria. In June 2018, after a lengthy extradition procedure by the competent authority of Austria, Gagiev was extradited to the Russian Federation and taken into custody.

“The testimony of Alborov AA, interrogated as an accused and a witness in criminal cases No. 12/2277, 12/2806, according to which the first person from the members of the criminal group whom he recognized and who contributed to his inclusion in this group was Zasseev I .I., Whom he knows from childhood. At the end of 2005 Zasseev I.I. introduced him to Gagiev O.S. nicknamed "Bote", when he was with I.I. was in Vladikavkaz with a friend. Zasseev I.I. someone called, and they went out into the street, where there was a car in which two previously unknown people were sitting. In the front passenger seat in the car sat a man whom I.I. Zasseev. presented as Gagieva O.S. nicknamed "Bote". In December 2005, I. I. Zasseev. left for Moscow and returned about six months later, saying that he had been at "Bote". After a while he was from I.I. Zasseev. learned that Gagieva O.S. was detained, and he is being held in a pre-trial detention center in the city of Vladikavkaz on suspicion of committing a murder in the village of V. Saniba of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. In November 2007 Gagieva O.S. released from the remand prison, and he immediately left for Moscow, Zasseev I.AND. left together with Gagiev O.S. In mid-February 2008, Zasseev I.I. arrived in Vladikavkaz and called him, the same they met, Zasseev I.AND. drove up to the meeting with Kudziev Temur. A week later, Zasseev I.I. I called him again and offered to meet, they drove around the city and talked on various topics. During the conversation, Zasseev I.I. told him that there were guests from Moscow in Vladikavkaz, with whom he (II Zasseev) was to commit the murder of the head of the 6th department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. The surname of the person whom I.I. should kill, he did not say, he himself did not know the name of the chief of the Organized Crime Control Department, but later he learned that it was Metsaev M.I. Words by I. I. Zasseev he was shocked, because it never occurred to him that I.I. can commit murder of a person. Also Zasseev I.I. said that he would commit this murder, as it is necessary for Gagiev OS, as well as one very influential person living in Moscow. Talking about that person, I.I. did not say his name or surname, but repeatedly called him "Big Brother" during the conversation. He said that this person has great connections and money, he has a Slavic appearance, which is why many people take him for a Russian, although this person is Ossetian. Also Zasseev I.I. said that this "Big Brother" is plotting the assassination of the head of the 6th department in order to put his own man in this position. They rolled around the city a little more, after which I.I. asked to take him to an apartment located on st. Vladikavkazskaya in the city of Vladikavkaz. Arriving at the said house, Zasseev AND.AND. got out of the car, said that guests from Moscow were waiting for him, and left. Zasseev I.I. did not invite him, apparently did not want him to meet with the people who were his guests. In a conversation, Zasseev I.I. mentioned the name of one of these guests - "Max". At that time, he did not know in which apartment Zasseev I.I. lived, but later it became known to him that the apartment was located at the address: Vladikavkaz, st. Vladikavkazskaya, 55, building 1, apt ... .., so he later lived there with I.I. Zasseev, he rented this apartment for him Kudziev Temur around February 2008. 03/06/2008 Alborov A.A. witnessed the telephone conversation Zasseev I.AND. with Gagiev O.S., during which the latter said that they were dragging out too long with this, to which Zasseev I.I. said they would commit a murder one of these days. 03/07/2008 I. I. Zasseev called him and told him to pick him up from the slot machine hall, which he did. I. I. Zasseev said that they had killed the head of the 6th department, and that he needed to see T.M. Kudziev. He (Alborov A.A.) called the neighbor of Kudziev T.M., who conveyed to the latter a request to come. Near the house of T.M. Kudziev I. I. Zasseev met with the latter. During the conversation Zasseev I.I. said that the one who was driving the car they drove to the murder remained at the scene of the murder, but Kudziev T.M. answered that everything is fine. After this conversation, he and I.I. arrived in with. Mikhailovskoe, where I.I. told him that during the murder of Metsaev their car had turned over and they fled. The next day Zasseev I.I. again met with Kudziev T.M., who in the presence of A.A. Alborov. said that the law enforcement officer who was driving a car at the time of Metsaev's murder was very frightened and sits at home, and he was summoned to Moscow, but he was afraid to go. On 10.03.2008 he was going to go by car to the Republic of South Ossetia, and I.I. said that he would go with him, as he wanted to visit his relatives. He, together with I.I. in a VAZ-2107 car we left North Ossetia-Alania for Tskhinval, where they stayed for about one week, after which they returned back to Vladikavkaz. On the same day, at the request of I.I. he took the latter to the airport of Mineralnye Vody for a flight to Moscow. Then in April 2008 Zasseev I.I. I called him and asked him to come to Moscow, telling him to take money for a ticket from Kudziev Temur. He met with Kudziev Temur, and he gave him money in the amount of about 7000 rubles, for which he bought a ticket and flew to Moscow, where he was met by I.I. in a silver Mazda-3 car and took him to the apartment where he lived for about two weeks. I. I. Zasseev told him that he had been working for O.S. Gagiev for a long time. and fulfills his instructions, which ones, did not specify, but he guessed that Zasseev I.AND. commits murders by order of "Bote". I. I. Zasseev told him that they would work for Bote, and everything would work out for them in life, since Bote has very extensive connections and communicates with influential people, and therefore, being with him, they can greatly change their life for the better. Realizing that he might have to participate in committing murders, he did not want to have anything to do with the crimes, but he understood that I.I. counts on his support. Thus, he joined the group of O.S. Gagiev. Kudziev T.M. played a key role in their group, providing the group with weapons and ammunition, clothing that they used to commit crimes, and transportation. When planning crimes Kudziev T.M. always offered his ideas, to which the rest of the group listened. After meeting Kudziev T.M., he got acquainted with Gabeyev M.A., as he later learned, - the Deputy Prosecutor of the Prigorodny District of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. The role of M.A. Gabeev in the group came down to the fact that Gabeev M.A., using his official identity card of an employee of the prosecutor's office, provided cover for the members of the group, that is, accompanied the group when making various trips by car, when it was connected with crossing the administrative borders, and in addition, after committing crimes, took out members of the group and weapons from the crime scene. Then he met Bagaev Tolik, he cannot say for sure if this is the real name, but all Bagaev was called Tolik. Bagaev Tolik was a close friend of Kudziev T.M., together they monitored the objects of encroachment, found out their places of residence, routes of movement, daily routine, and then insured the members of the group carrying out the attack. In July 2008, he met A.N.Dzhussoev, whose role was usually limited to organizing crimes, distributing roles between the participants, often he personally acted as a shooter. With his participation in the territory of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania, their criminal group committed the following murders: the murder of A.Z. Chelokhsaev; and Kabulova Ch.V. in August 2008 in Vladikavkaz; attempted murder of M.M. Bagaev and the murder of Kasradze AND.The. in September 2008 in Vladikavkaz; encroachment on the life of an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Cheldiev V.V. and the murder of his son Cheldiev Z.V. in October 2008 in Vladikavkaz; murder of the mayor of Vladikavkaz Karaev V.S. in November 2008 in Vladikavkaz; encroachment on the life of an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for North Ossetia-Alania Kachmazov A.Sh. in December 2008 in the city of Alagir; the murder of K.Kh. Pagiev and Gasieva V.N. in December 2008 in Vladikavkaz ”.
